Research Notes
Preclinical studies in rodent full-thickness wound models have shown thymosin beta-4 accelerates re-epithelialization, increases collagen deposition, and promotes angiogenesis. Animal research in normal, diabetic, and aged models demonstrated greater wound contraction and organized tissue remodeling.
